I started my carpentry career 16 years ago building fences with a friend. It was supposed to be a summer job and then back to university, but I loved the ability to look back at a days work and see what I had put together. It grew into a passion and I began my apprenticeship shortly after that summer job.
During the course of my career, I moved to a few different companies and was able to work with some extremely talented carpenters who made my dream of owning a construction seem not so far fetched. I’ve learned a lot from a lot of great people and wouldn’t be where I am without them.
I’m proud of Technique and proud of the work we do. It’s the happiest I’ve been in my life and I think that shows in how we approach our work.
I spend my time with my Fiancée, Launa and our dog, Marge. She has a couple cats, but they’re not really my thing. Any free time is spent trying a new recipe in the kitchen or playing guitar in my band. I also really like to beat Ryan in a game of Squash. I’m currently undefeated against him.
